@SaperPl1: It's a cool small set, but I would expect those supports at the back to end with some detail.
@martins6590: I've built this just yesterday and 100% agree on your remarks.
It has an ultra low part count (the 42147 Dump Truck from last year had 177 parts at the same price).
At least it's as cute as the Mini Xerion from a few years ago...

@maku693x: Not really a fan of those small sets but I'll still buy it for my daughter?
@M-Filip: Blackhole loader
@kostas_ts: looks really nice next to the dump truck 42147 and the bulldozer 42163!
@johnnytifosi: Damn, even the small sets are declining in quality. 10 euro sets used to be amazing and have B-models (see mini Claas, skid steer, plane, telenandler, snow groomer). The past few 10 euro sets like the bulldozer or the backhoe look like polybag sets.
@ZeratKJ: A lot of details in this little guy :)
On the other hand It more of a drivable car, or a prop for a diorama

@NathanaelRig: Bionicle ??
@Jr.StanMan-Creations: a top technic set to start the year off right in my opinion.
@TrapMaster9215: I have the 8260 Tractor set. It was was one of my first lego sets. I personally think the Tractor looks better than the Backhoe
@g.williams2047: Looks like a decent parts donator for me, which is the primary use I get out of these small sets.
@f-1492: I hardly even get the small sets, but the quality is dipping faster than I thought it would
@Newstad666: I really dig it! (pun intended)
@WizardOfOss: Gotta love those transparent paper bags! And the fact that they just keep mentioning the sustainable packaging in the instructions even when apart from the free review copies they send to other channels most sets still have plastic bags...
As for the set.....I don't like it. It looks like a B-model from something else, an afterthought. With just one actual function, if there's no gears, lever or whatever involved to make it work, it's just not a function. Just a few days ago I got myself the 30710 Skid-Steer Loader, a "polybag" (now actually paper!) for just €4 and with only half the number of pieces, but it basically does the same as this. Much better small set if you ask me.
And now compare this set with the brilliant mini-Claas from just a few years ago....how far has Technic fallen ?
