MarkD: Man every comment section for this game's gun sound has this "hurr the sounds are from from mw2019 durr” dafuq is the beef of these people with the fricking sounds, like does it hurt their egos or something? Genuinely frigging curious.
Jobl ii: a lot of the comments here are on about cod mw, sound library this and that, but don't seem to realize what's actually going on. iw and activision don't own all the sounds featured in mw2019, as these sounds were likely made by combining recorded samples and effects from gun libraries like the boom sfx library. the atomic heart devs likely also downloaded the same library, and so a lot of the core samples are being reused in a new context. when you're creating sound effects you are often splicing sounds together into new ones, and so it's likely these devs had spliced sounds in a way that fit what they were going for regardless of it being used in other media.

They aren’t ”similar” or ”kinda The same” they are Literally The exact sounds from that game. People are talking about audio libraries when iw literally has videos of bts on how the gun sounds were made. Sure The atomic heart devs could have also recorded their guns the same way as iw, but if you pull up a video of The x16 or ak from mw and compare them to this game? Same exact sound files. No shame from these devs?
