@babylonhasfallen1329: I can relate to what Ryan Day is going through.Although I may not agree with everything he says, I can understand the whole Ellen G White issue because it’s one reason that I stopped going to the SDA church. I still believe that the SDA church has the most biblically accurate interpretation of scripture, I believe in the Sabbath as well as the other 9 commandments but I just got tired of going to church and hearing sermons where EGW was quoted more than the Bible. It would really get to me and my mind would shut down once the pastor started quoting her. I don’t blame EGW, I blame the people who seem to hold her writings as equal to or sometimes it seems, above the Bible. There were other issues that played a role in me leaving, it would take too long to get into it but I can say that it had nothing to with the 28 fundamental beliefs but more with the legalistic approach and religious arrogance of the more prominent members. Basically, they were almost like modern day Pharisees. As for Ellen G White, I think she was inspired by the Holy Spirit but I won’t go as far as calling her a prophet and I don’t hold her in the high regard that hardcore Seventh Day Adventist do. I’ve read some of her books but I don’t go through the trouble of memorizing her writings, the book it is in, the page number and all that stuff.

Why is it many others have left your denomination ? Have all her prophecies come true ? Or are they like many others vague or barley close . ? why can't you just follow Jesus. I don't recall Jesus every saying to follow anyone except him .

@Christopher-cr7pw: And everyone who believes what ana white believes is also deceived for she was also wrong in her teachings. Yashua made it very clear who is was ans waht his followers do and that he would send the holy spirit to all believers. The Bible isn't so complicated all of you adults need to go re read your bibles it's easy quit worrying about the small stuff and worry about stepping up and doing what Matthew 25 36 - 40 and Mark 4 says doing Yashuas will not your own and your life will be fine.
@JamieElison: Where does the bible say that people on the Earth are being judged in heaven before Jesus comes back just print the verse and make sure the verse pertains to the people on the Earth!

@Jpepperguy: Unfortunately it’s the churches fault for giving the impression of EGW worshipping. Yes it’s not our stance but we are guilty of shoving EGW down the throats of our communities and we should be preaching Jesus! EGW writings have been misused in the church and have caused much damage.

@keithholm7493: 1. You think Christ judges you on one bad moment? Jesus sees our entire lives. He is outside of time. And I NEVER heard Ellen White say that. I've been an SDA my entire life. I have had moments of doubt but God has gotten me through them. Great response Greg. God bless!

Paul is using this verse in Romans 3 to build a strong case for his argument that salvation is not achieved through works of the law but through faith in Christ.
(On our own, we can never become perfect).
Righteousness is right living. God alone sets the standard of right living because He alone is righteous. We’d always—one hundred percent of the time—be aligned with God if we lived in perfect righteousness. BUT WE KNOW THAT ISN'T POSSIBLE DUE TO OUR SINFUL NATURE.
Apart from Christ, we will never attain the righteousness that God requires. Our best attempts are like soiled rags.
So God, in His loving-kindness, put forth a different way, crediting righteousness to us through faith in Christ (Rom. 3:22):
