But if they changed the title everybody will expect "Avengers" level thrill from the movie and they will be disappointed.
Instead they named it Thunderbolts so you don't have that much expectations from the movie but the movie doesn't disappoints really (Actually, Not Bad) and they change the name later with an asterisk (*) and in the process make a lot of money.

@zaykoou: The Asterisk is because Bucky said " we cant be called that " When Red Guardian Said " We are the thunderbolt". So Thunderbolt is a Name holder ( Atleast , that's my theory )

@rashmidk6842: I think the asterisk( * ) symbol indicates the six main characters in 'Thunderbolts', who share a common villain(Bob/ sentry/ void) , because asterisk has 6 straight lines coming out from a common point( or the centre) ,the 6 lines represents the 6 main characters and the centre indicates the common point for these lines, the centre symbolizes the villain(Bob / sentry/ void) ,since all the main characters share a common villain(Bob/sentry/ void) , so the centre represents the villain , which implies the 6 straight lines coming out from a common point(or the centre).
Centre of the asterisk= Villain.

I just wish there had been proper listening from the day the fall happened, there just hasnt been any proper listening since Mr Monkhouse did the subtalar fusions in both feet. There just hasnt been any listening in 2021, 2022 or 2023 which has done as much damage as the initial event itself not having any listening after it happened.
