@1920sfan1: When hearing the delicate vocal it immediately reminded me of Harold 'Scrappy" Lambert's voice timbre. No wonder though: after some research, it appeared this is Harold Lambert himself :-) Actually, this Embassy issue is an Australian pressing of a matrix waxed on July 10, 1929, for the Plaza Music Company, featuring Sam Lanin & His Orchestra.
