@thebigv8644: Really wish Technic would get back to the larger scale construction models.
@896gerard: It reminds me of the years from 2005, when we had a decade of sets like these. For me the 42209 is a reminder of that era, and a shining beacon in the sea of dull of the past Technic years, a sign that Technic has still got it when Lego wants.
Thanks Sariel for pointing that out, your review gives it the credit that it deserves.

@giuseppeferro244: Quanto mi mancano le tue recensioni sui Lego Technic ?. Sono davvero di gran lunga le migliori, e questo video ne è l’esempio perfetto. Sei il TOP!!
@LimChingLiang: This set simply can entering Top 3 Best Lego Technic Set of 2025. Everything compact into tiny space, no single space been wasted. It also can fit into 42175 Trailer plus Generator from 42175 also can provided electricity charging for 42209 from the back pot. 1 significant cons. During Video 14:22 everytime rising the bucket, the bucket will tilt down due to single axle sharing.
@bestbattle: I think racing brick best said it: Lego prices seem to be per 100 grams, not per piece.
@johny69CZE: It looks like it would pair up with 42203 nicely, definitelly something id want as a kid.
@redheadsg1: Why they don't make something like a crank on those knobs ? You get annoyed twisting them really fast, at least i do.
@Saruzeufel: I have to agree with you, the set seems to have nice mechanical features but just looks a bit wrong with the ugly coloured gears and the squished cabin. But still better than any of the boring cars
@agentice77: might save up and buy this set

@AHYL88: I bet those coloured gears that clash so much against the model itself are just put there to troll us! They know how annoying it is, given it's a longstanding criticism!
Besides that, great looking and very functional set. A bit too expensive for its size, but the complexity of the first few bags is really something!

@peterpolus5272: Would you please consider lowering the contrast in your videos a bit? Sometimes they are a little "painful" to look at because of the extremely bright colors stinging you in the eyes from the background of extremely black blacks (11:17). Another example is 1:14 - here the yellow is fine but the tires are so dark you can't make out any detail. The issue is even stronger on your videos recorded outside. Thanks!
Ps. Now I'm glad I don't have OLED?

@joshspinney: it's so dense!
@totallyaddicted2bricks989: I agree on the multicoloured pins, axles & gears etc., ruins the look of what could be a really good set. This and dumbed down build instructions just ruin Technic for me. Thanks for the great, and honest review!
@Lordodragonss: For this price I really expected to be ELECTRIC.
@THE-D72: This Set is just a cheaped out Lego 8265. I cant see a single thing that this does better.
Useless liscense, as usual (no prints, not even some advertising bla bla in the instructions), so i dont count it as one...
Id rather buy a used 8265 over one of these every day of the week.

@LeRatVisseur: Looks like an old set that I have called Volvo l350f
@Unbrickme: Where did you get this? Some sort of store? please tell me the EXACT store name and location. Was it online? send me the link please. I need to know how to buy them early
@bartybum: 15:30 Fun fact - friction is completely irrelevant to the matter of replacing the blue spur gear with a black bevel gear, because the bevel gears still have regular involute profiles along the centreline. The beveled profiles are only on the sides. Even if the steering had high friction, you could swap the gears and it'd be the same.
