@ssbbSephi: When i was master in flex i played solo and i got matched against multiple IRON 4 accounts that had 82loses and maybe 1 win, queuing togehter with challenger. The average elo of the lobby was gold. Its unbelievable that those accouunts were able to lose 82 games in a row completetely undetected. So while i was clearly playing against smurds, i got actual silver players in my team. i send a very detailed ticket to the support about those cheaters and a few seasons later riot set the minimum rank a challenger can play to emerald or so
@RavenSungOfficial: I just like to believe Flex Queue is a place to keep these boosters in one place.
@LoLSouley: Teamranked was one of the best things League ever had and it was such a fun experience, it is so sad they just removed it almost 10 years ago, when it would also remove the need to have 2 different modes in Flex and Clash...
@kadrikarakoc807: Ranked should be solo. i am even against duo queue. if you wanna play with friends, just play unranked. Because even duo manipulates deserved elo. if a Gold duo plays agains two solo Gold player, they win every fight even if all four players have equal talent. If you promote these premades to Plat because ''they are better'' they will ruin others players game when they play solo or autofill roles.
@jeixslovianofil8427: Even Riot doesn't care about ranks in flex queue xdddddddddd
@idrisghaleb7254: BRING BACK RANKED TEAM
@tensynx9430: Although i do agree with some points like adjusting LP, its hard to fix it in a way that doesn't alienate top tier players. If you are a challenger level player and you want to play competitively in a flex but you only know people who are say plat/emerald/diamond then you cant do anything about the team composition. Its a hard spot between removing mmr abusers from the top players and keeping the accessibility and 'flexibility' of the queue. I'm worried that any change to the current system would just make it feel worse to play flex at a high elo normally. If they add tight restrictions on the rank of your teammates then you wont be able to play with the team you want and the players you enjoy playing with. If they change the LP gains/losses then it could ruin the whole point of the competitive flex queue anyway. Let's say you choose to play with your emerald friends, and because of that your lp gains get skewed because of the matchups of the teams. If they are harsh enough to stop the people getting 80% to 90% win rates then it would decimate LP gains for the normal player, ruining the fun of the climb and most likely tanking their rank(which isn't very fun). So now this person has to choose between playing with the people they want to play with, finding other high ranked flex players to play with that they might not like, or just solo queue in flex.
I think what it comes down to is that the popularity of the queue does not facilitate high-elo integrity. What I think would be the best fix for it would be to have teams with the same number of ranks on each team, 4 emeralds 1 chal vs 4 emeralds 1 chal. But the fact is that there are simply not enough players to accommodate every single combination of team. There are simply too many permutations to account for a fair match every single time without having to wait days for a queue.
I do get that seeing the top ladder of flex be filled with people undeserving of the title is frustrating, but the call to action for Riot to fix it and calling them out for not changing it for years I feel is unfair. I do get that sometimes their decisions can be heavily influenced by business metrics (hextech chests), and I don't deny that they most likely actively don't put resources into changing the flex system because it is simply not worth the money to remake the queue. What I don't agree with is urging them to do something about it, because in my opinion, creating outcry for change to a fragile system that could inhibit the experience of those who actually do enjoy it, is not something I agree with.
As a final note, I do agree with your closing statements with clash, I think that league truly does need more opportunities for people to compete with their friends against other teams in a fair environment and although flex might not be the best place to achieve that 'apex' status, clash is another good alternative to have those experiences.

@poseyyddon: Ir surprises me the Brazilian player is the fairest and sometimes plays with people with their same elo (and win with positive KDA).
@Ekolas66: The sad fact is that this matchmaking abuse is happening not only in Flex que but in Aram and draft pick too. I tried a dozen times to write on reddit about this situation but my post never pass the check, so i gave up bothering and stop playing ranked. People tells me all the time that "who cares it's flex or aram or draft or w.e." well it seems there people who premade with 4 smurfs in order to have an easier time, i would say people against these premades care about this situation. Again , tnx Vandiril for covering the subject <3
@firststep.boomswish: The sad thing is that flex q and solo q have similar match making now. Solo q has gone to sht
@kerr1042: i think another 500 dollar skin gonna fix this
@yellowjoker3447: Simply add that you can't q flex if u are lower div in soloq max 1 div diff and disable solo flex
@p.e.r.c.y: Easy fix is if you're playing with a team where there's a huge discrepancy between ranks you loss percentages 5-10% but only gain 1-2LP. Imagine if these top players win they get 1LP but risk loosing 200+. Would stop the issue overnight imo.
@tranthinh8772: Riot always ensuring each game you play is 50/50
50% you will loss
50% your opponent will win
50% you will loss
50% your opponent will win
@leilahomally2835: are guys new ? even soloqs are like this good morning
@Laloitou: Riot will never fix it, they are too busy crafting excellent quality skins and content for us at a reasonable price for everyone. wink wink...
@Karlyr_: Stopped playing League for this very reason almost 10 years ago. Glad to see people are starting to wake up.
@zafaso3493: they ignore smurfing in league valo and idk about their other games
@bagboybrown: Imagine thinking any rank in flex is some kind of "accomplishment" it's literally just a custom game. Nobody cares.
