The Art of the Planted Aquarium 2025 live aquascaping contest was organized during Aqua Expo XXL fair in Hamm, Germany, on 25-27th April 2025. There were two main categories of tanks, XL and Nano. In this video I present a short preview of all 12 entries in the XL category. Dimensions of these aquariums are 90 x 45 x 45 cm.

Hi guys, looks like I'm back! Did you miss me? ;) For starters, I visited Aqua Expo XXL fair, organized in Hamm, Germany, on the 25-27th of April 2025. There was also The Art of the Planted Aquarium 2025 live aquascaping contest held during this fair, and of course I also filmed these aquariums. But for now I show you a preview of best planted tank displayed at the fair by companies. And stay tuned - more videos are coming soon :)

This is the last video of the series showing aquariums of the aquatic plants exhibition in the Botanical Garden in Wrocław. There are about 30 aquariums, 1280 liters each. I this last part I show tanks no 26, 27 and 28, with plants from Africa and Madagascar, as well as from South America.

W dniu 02.07.2023 odbyła się w Ogrodzie Botanicznym we Wrocławiu impreza "Miasto Wody", a jednym z punktów programu była wycieczka po Dziale roślin wodnych i błotnych Ogrodu, prowadzona przez kierownika działu, mgr. inż. Krzysztofa Reczka. In this video I show compilation of all planted tanks at the exhibition of aquatic plants in the Botanical Garden in Wrocław. The idea of this exhibition is to show plants from all over the world, rather than true biotope aquariums - that's why fishes in the aquariums often do not come from the same geographical region as the plants. Size of each aquarium is 200 x 70 x 80 cm. Filmed with Samsung Galaxy A51, edited in Davinci Resolve 18.

Ikola is a pet shop located in Wrocław, Poland. They specialize in fishkeeping, and - among other virtues ;) - also have a large planted aquarium in the main hall. Dimensions of the aquarium - 200 x 60 x 80 cm, so the volume is almost a 1000 liters, and the plants are mostly Cryptocorynes and Java fern. Very interesting aquarium, pretty even without strong light, CO2 supplementation etc.

The fair Tierwelt Messe 2017 was organized in Magdeburg, Germany, on 7-9 April 2017. In this video I show last three planted aquariums at the booth of Aqua Design Amano (ADA) Deutschland. The fair Tierwelt Messe 2017 was organized in Magdeburg, Germany, on 7-9 April 2017. In this video I show planted aquariums at the booth of Aqua Design Amano (ADA) Deutschland.
